Staffing Updates

The London Lyceum and Hanover Press continue to grow exponentially. To meet the continued demand, six new hires have been made, with each addition including a wide range of academic and pastoral experience across the country. The new hires are:

  • Leland Brown, Senior Director and Hanover Press Assistant Editor and Sales Director
  • Mark Joubert, Executive Director of Baptist History Projects
  • Matt Ntiros, Philosophy Director
  • Braylon Pilant, Managing Director
  • E. J. Roussell, Event Manager
  • Tyler Roberts, Content Assistant

The team is excited to work alongside each of these additions who will serve the team well. Senior Director, Hunter Hindsman, shared that Leland Brown captures the London Lyceum’s vision well. He said, “Leland is not just an academic. He is a pastor at heart. He loves his church, the Bible, and caring for the fatherless.” Baptist Theology Director, Jake Stone, said of Mark Joubert, “Mark is a faithful husband and father who loves Christ and His church. He is also a careful historian who deeply desires for the Baptist primary sources to be available to future generations. His commitment to the sources is a model that we all need to learn from.” President, Jordan Steffaniak shared about Matt Ntiros, “Matt is an exemplary thinker. He’s the exact type of person we want to partner with at the London Lyceum. We first connected through the London Lyceum’s private Slack channel and have developed a strong friendship. Matt has read numerous excerpts of my work and made them significantly better.”

The team is also pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Gilleskie and Caleb Hawkins to the London Lyceum executive team as Senior Directors.

Fundraising

The London Lyceum is continuing its fundraising campaign with the goal of $40,000 in 2024. Currently, ~15% of the goal has been met, leaving much more to be raised. As our institution matures, the need for financial support grows in lockstep. These funds will go to support four discrete areas:

  • Relationship Management Travel Funds: $10,000
  • Hanover Press Content Support: $11,500
  • Research Support: $8,500
  • The London Lyceum Staff Support: $10,000

Similar institutions have budgets in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, even upwards of millions of dollars annually. The London Lyceum, however, remains a shockingly lean organization with an annual budget below ten thousand dollars. Despite our lean structure, it is the financial support of partners like you that enables the London Lyceum to meet the growing demands of the organization at the standard of excellence you have grown to expect. Therefore, your support is critical. More information on the fundraising campaign can be found here. Donations can also be made there. All donors of $250 or greater will be included in journal editions as partners in serious thinking.
